Lorie DeHimer has strong roots in Central New York, born in Onondaga County, her family is from the Utica/Rome area, lived in ADK for 10 years, and now resides in Vermont. Lorie’s major influences are Shawn Colvin, Bonnie Raitt, and Allison Krauss.
After moving to Vermont, Lorie opened for Manchester VT's ,RIley Rink's, Vermont Rockin’ Concert Series by opening for TUSK, the well-known Fleetwood Mac Band out of Boston, MA. The following year, she was filmed her first TV event, The New England Artist Series at Berkshire Community Television Station which aired in an hour-long program on public TV showcasing her original work. Lorie resides in Vermont today.
Lorie is available for booking in the CNY, Utica/Rome area, Lake George, Saratoga, Southwestern MA, and of course gigs in Vermont.
